He was most recently a Managing Partner at Higdon Barrett, a leading asset management boutique search firm. Prior to that, he headed the Global Asset and Wealth Management Practice at Heidrick & Struggles. Barrett's co-founders include four recruiters with global asset management search experience: Darryl Adachi, Danit Ben-Zvi and Anne Keyser whom he has known since his Heidrick & Struggles days, and Ted Kister who first recruited Barrett into the executive search profession at Russell Reynolds Associates in 1986. Having worked in both large and small firms, Barrett believes that the boutique model serves his executive search clients best.
